RIFAT OZBEK
Rifat Özbek is one of the most distinctive voices in late 20th century British fashion. Working from the 1980s through the 1990s, he built a visual language that blended global influences with a sharp London sensibility. His work draws on Turkish heritage, club culture and textile traditions, often combining bold prints, rich colour and relaxed, easy silhouettes.
This is clothing that feels expressive but never overworked. Silk shirts, printed dresses and fluid tailoring sit at the heart of the archive. Pieces move with the body and slip easily into a modern wardrobe. There is always a sense of individuality, but also wearability.
Alongside the main Özbek line, you will find pieces from FUTURE OZBEK and O FOR OZBEK. These diffusion lines carry the same spirit, often with a more casual, accessible approach to the designer’s signature prints and shapes.
Every piece here reflects that balance between statement and ease. These are not costume pieces. They are designed to be worn now, mixed with denim, tailoring or simple everyday staples, and styled in a way that feels entirely your own.
