2000s Betty Jackson Ecru Floral Shearling Maxi Coat

Winter whites have a glamour all their own, and this Betty Jackson shearling maxi coat captures it beautifully. The soft ecru leather features intricate punched floral detailing, complemented by the natural cream fleece revealed at the collar, lapels, front edges and turned-back cuffs.

Made in England from 100% sheepskin, it combines enveloping warmth with a long, elegant silhouette. Decorative hook-and-eye fastenings sit low on the front, allowing the generous lapels to fall softly, while discreet pockets keep it practical. There’s a little 1930s romance to the shape, alongside a relaxed bohemian feel.

Finding this design in both black (the exact style in black is also for sale) and ecru has been a particular sourcing pleasure. Each colour gives it a different character, and I love the softness of this pale version. I’d wear it over cream knitwear and trousers for a winter look that feels quietly luxurious. A special piece to enjoy again and again.

There are visible marks and areas of discolouration around the cuffs and sleeves, and some marking on a shoulder, possibly from colour transfer. I have not attempted to remove these. Please examine the photographs closely to ensure you are happy with the condition before purchasing.
