There is something so playfully chic about this vintage 70s Gibi Roma linen navy blue and yellow floral print knee length dress. I think it’s the combination of the wool neckline’s go-faster sporty stripe, combined with the ’30s inspired cape which falls over the bust and across the shoulders. Plus, the elasticated waistline makes for a very comfortable dress to wear, especially as the elastic has loosened with age.
The skirt is fully lined with a synthetic fabric liner and there is a very small tear to the fabric along the central seam of the skit, please see pics. You can hardly see it when you wear it.
Due to the style and the fabric this dress can be worn all year round. It just needs different pieces to layer with.
The sizing label claims it is a UK12 but I would suggest it would fit a variety of body shapes, please see measurements (in inches) for more information:
