Vintage 1980s Maxfield Parrish Tan Suede Button-Up Dress

£120.00

1 in stock

With its long, fluid silhouette and softly draped shawl collar, this 1980s Maxfield Parrish dress makes a statement through texture and proportion. The warm tan suede falls gently around the body, with a deep V neckline and a row of small brown buttons running down the front. The sleeveless cut makes it particularly versatile for layering.

Founded in 1972 by British designer Nigel Preston, Maxfield Parrish became celebrated for its innovative leather, suede and sheepskin designs. Preston’s ability to work supple skins with the ease and movement of cloth is beautifully reflected in this piece.

Wear it buttoned as a dress over a fine rollneck, or open as a long waistcoat over a shirt and trousers. Its understated design gives you plenty of scope to make it your own, while the suede brings warmth and richness to even the simplest outfit.
