Vintage tank tops are fast becoming a popular item to wear all year round; they are the prefect layering piece. And, this brown hand-knitted, patterned v-neck tank top is a fantastic example of this style category.
Estimated to be produced in the 60s/70s period, and it great, used condition, a part from one darned small area at the front of the top (see pics). This vest top would look excellent worn over a cotton blouse and blue jeans or a silk shirt and leather midi skirt, for something a little smarter.
It is estimated that this top was made from wool blend fibre and there is a little stretch to the fabric.
