I cannot believe how beautiful this 1940s black crepe single breasted jacket is and it’s all because of the intricate metallic and bronze leaf embroidery, which runs down both sides of the jacket, and along the lower edge of the coverup across the hips.
It is in incredible condition for it’s age. The jacket is unlined and fastens at the waist with a fabric covered button.
The jacket’s silhouette is slimline and the piece is weighed down with two coins which are sewn into the interior of both sides of the jacket. See photos for more information.
