This is a beautiful vintage silk skirt suit by much loved, Scottish fashion designer Chris Clyne. This skirt suit comprise of a jacket, knee length skirt and matching self-tie wide belt, all made from 100% silk. This style was produced in the 80s for the iconic department store Simpsons on Jermyn Street.
This designer rose to prominence in the 80s with her colourful, feminine designs, which a young Lady Diana Spencer was seen in, during her early years as a member of the Royal Family.
This particular style is perfect for a variety of outfits and occasions. The jacket is unlined and without any form of fastening. It is collarless and has pockets at hip level. It would look fabulous with a t-shirt and jeans, as it would with a polo neck and velvet trousers in the autumn.
