This is a beautiful example of an early 80s design by much loved Parisian fashion house, Chloe. It buttons up at the front and is unlined. The buttons appear to be mother of pearl and have a women’s face carved on each one.
One of the buttons was missing and I have replaced with an antique mother of pearl button from my great grandmother’s button collection.
The dress has an interesting marbled print effect across it, with softly fluted short sleeves and a dagger collar. It is a FR40 and has an elasticated waistband, still with the original elastic, which has slightly lost its elasticity.
The hem is a trapeze style, which billows around the body as you walk. It is a dress, which can be worn all year round and would suit a variety of occasions.

Bust: 42″ (measured pit to pit)
Shoulder to Shoulder: 16.5″
Waist: 30″
Hips: 46″
Length: 51″ (hem length varies, as it is a trapeze style)
