I have never seen a handbag quite like this one. Judging from the swirling embroidery and floral print motif on both sides of this bag, I estimate it is from the late 30s, early 40s period. It is fully lined with the loveliest blue painted wooden handles.
It is in a great, preloved condition and would make a great carry-all to complement all your spring outfits.
